The Music Icon Portrays a Dark Alter Ego of Herself in Satirical Film First Look

The celebrated musician is preparing for a major film onslaught in 2026, beginning with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.

In the film, she embodies what she describes as a dark version of herself.

It’s the truest representation of the music industry that I’ve ever seen, the star stated.

She clarified in a discussion: It’s not a tour documentary, however the inspiration came from the pressure to create one.

An Early Look into The Moment

The initial preview, unveiled on this week, mixes actual recordings from her recent tour with made-up off-stage interactions.

The Moment is overseen and co-authored by the director, who explained that the story centers on a reality where Charli took completely different paths in the promotion of her smash hit album Brat.

Additionally, she agreed to feature in Dakota Johnson’s first film as director A Tree in Blue.

Musical Contributions

February will also bring the debut of the filmmaker’s interpretation of Wuthering Heights, which will showcase new music from the singer.
